Empty Tubes
These are screw capped 5ml and 10ml blood collection tubes without any anticoagulant, we produce either gamma irradiated (>25Kgy) or non-sterile format. They are available in polystyrene or polypropylene with or without a label. All the tubes are also fitted with rigid screw caps to provide leak free specimens. All the screw cap lids for this product range are white in colour.
With Clotting Accelerator
These are screw capped 5ml and 10ml blood collection tubes treated with clotting accelerator, also available with serum separation gel or beads. These are polypropylene with a label and are fitted with rigid screw caps to provide leak free specimens.
Our plastic screw cap blood collection tubes are CE marked in accordance with (EU) 2017/746 2017 and leak tested to ISO 6710:2017, a single-use containers for human venous blood specimen collection.
The lids are colour coded for standard compliance and ease of recognition.
- White: Treated for Clotted Blood or Beads
- Green: Treated with Separation Gel
