Orange Pierceable Screw Cap Paediatric Blood Collection Tube (1.3ml Lithium Heparin) – PAED71 (Pack 1000)

Pierceable blood collection tube filled with 1.3ml lithium heparin, intended for blood samples. Lithium heparin anticoagulant are commonly used for chemical measurements and clinical biochemistry tests. Due to its low cation concentration, minimal chelating properties and minimal interference with water, heparin is an ideal anticoagulant for chemical analysis in plasma and blood tests. Application areas are immunology, toxicology and clinical chemistry tests of blood plasma.

The orange pierceable screw cap tube will allow 1.3ml volume of blood to be collected. This long narrow tube is ideal for sample collection and processing. The tube is CE marked in accordance with (EU) 2017/746 2017 and is tested to ISO 6710:2017, it is a single-use container for human venous blood specimen collection. It is specifically designed for paediatric use and colour coded for standard compliance and ease of recognition.
