Blood collection tube filled with 0.8ml di potassium EDTA, intended for blood samples. Di potassium EDTA anticoagulant are commonly used in haematology procedures, it is the preferred anticoagulant in the collection of specimens for blood cell sizing and counting. EDTA can function by preserving the cell components and the morphology of blood cells. Application areas are molecular genetics and haematology tests.
The pink screw cap tube will allow 0.8ml volume of blood to be collected. This long narrow tube is ideal for sample collection and processing. The tube is CE marked in accordance with (EU) 2017/746 2017 and is tested to ISO 6710:2017, it is a single-use container for human venous blood specimen collection. It is specifically designed for paediatric use and colour coded for standard compliance and ease of recognition.
